frozen adventure

The sun shined on me like a torch shining on my neck, blinding me. As I look around I see snow glistening in the sun like diamonds twinkling in the sun. As I look around I see jagged mountains glistening in the sun like broken glass scattered across the icy land. I walk up to the mountain and to my surprise in the distance I see a family of polar running down the mountain like made men.

I wonder to myself what are those polar bears running from Then it hit me, it is an avalanche. As the snow rolls down the hill like the barrels from donkey kong I scream “ avalanche!” as I run I see one of the baby polar bears get taken down by the snow. The rest of the accident was a blur to me, all I could remember was that one out of the three cubs made it back along with its mother.

We check the snow for any peoples corpse in the snow, there is 10 people who are believed to have been caught in the avalanche but we have only found two peoples corpse, so there love ones will have something to bury at their funerals

Dialogue workshop

This week we had a writer's workshop on Dialogue in Literacy.  We had to write a dialogue between two people planning a trip, and then go back and add action that showed them packing.  I tried to make each character stand out with their own personality based on what they said and did.  Let me know what you think and if there is anything you would do differently.

“Chris hurrey up we are going to be late for our trip to london,” cody said “Ok ok I am just starting to pack, have you started yet,”chris said “Yes I have, where do you want to go first london dungeon or the tower of london,”codey said “I want to go to tower of london first, I heard It is a really good place to go,”chris said “Ok we can go there first then we are going to go to the london dungeon,”codey said “Sure but if you get scared I am not going to be there to help you and give you a cuddle,” chris said “Ha ha very funny but seriously I bet you you will scream first,”codey said
